“Some love one, some love two. I love
one, and that is you.” - Plato
Recently one of my friends asked me a
question where X loves Y and Y loves Z, not X. In that case, what should the X
do? I smiled and said as follows:
This is the problem with the people as
they don’t love the one who truly loves them. In contrast, they love the one
who doesn’t show any interest in them. It
is like A loves B; B loves C; C loves D and the story goes on. Finally, there
is a total mismatch in love and relationship. It is often observed that people
search for stones elsewhere by ignoring gems available in front of them. They
ignore the people who deeply love them and look for people who don’t care them.
Most people don’t find the right love, and finally, settle down to the
realities of life and marry somebody else.
We don’t have any magic wand to find out
the people who truly love us and also make the people love us just because we
love them. Hence, you must change your attitude towards love by respecting the
one who truly loves you rather than chasing the person who doesn’t show any
interest in you. Of course, love is ultimately a matter of heart, not head. But
my message to the world is that love the one who loves you, not the one who
dislikes you to lead a pleasant and happy life.
Lao-Tzu rightly quoted, “Being deeply
loved by someone gives you strength; loving someone deeply gives you courage.”
Hence, choose whether you want to love or to be loved as ‘love and to be loved’
is a rare coincidence in this world.
“My love for you will outlast this
beach, this ocean, this planet. When judgment comes and Heaven finally falls, I
will take you back with me.” ― Scarlet Blackwell, I Am Fallen
