I agree that LEADERSHIP is vital to any organization, whether is a government, for profit or non-profit organization, but you are missing the key point, WHAT TYPE OF LEADER IS REQUIRED?
In my book RISKTAKER, CARETAKER, SURGEON, UNDERTAKER..the four faces of strategic leadership, I assert that there are different types of leaders for each phase of the life cycle. This event today...we lack the right type of leaders for a crisis situation
