“For Pawan Kalyan, Time is Good, not Timing”- Professor M.S.Rao

"There can be no power without mystery. There must always be a 'something' which others cannot altogether fathom, which puzzles them, stirs them, and rivets their attention.... Nothing more enhances authority than silence. It is the crowning virtue of the strong, the refuge of the weak, the modesty of the proud, the pride of the humble, the prudence of the wise, and the sense of fools."— Charles de Gaulle

Pawan Kalyan delivers a dialogue in his famous movie ‘Gabbar Singh’, “I don’t believe in time. I believe in timing.” That was the comment from the reel star. But as a real star, Pawan Kalyan’s time is good, not timing.

Ever since Pawan declared that he would float a political party on the eve of ensuing elections, the media is making all efforts to exploit his fame.  There are various things the Pawan must consider before floating his political party. Reel life is different from real life. In reel life, script is written by others whereas in real life, the script must be written by the leader. Politics are different from film industry. What worked in one place might not work in another place. What worked for one person might not work for another person. Presently the politics are crowded with too many personalities with lots of mudslinging. Apart from this, it takes lots of efforts to build a political party. It requires 4 Ms - men, machine, money and material to build an organization.  Of course, if one is passionate with a strong vision and mission, it is possible to mobilize all 4 Ms.

Leaders can be passionate for their causes but what about others things like vision, mission and execution. It requires lots of patience to set the ball rolling, and it is called timing. Timing is all about alignment of external forces as per your internal forces. The external forces are usually beyond your control. Even this can be set, if the leader is strong and powerful.

Pawan should not create enemies within his family members and the industry by plunging into politics at this age and stage. If Pawan makes a mistake, it will cost his image in film industry as well thus eroding his fan base as people always expect more from leaders especially from altruistic leaders like Pawan who is a large-hearted personality.

In the current context, it is advisable for Pawan to maintain his own identity without associating with any other political parties and individuals including his elder brother, Chiranjeevi who is sailing in a sinking ship – Congress.  Pawan must do charities and participate in Non-Governmental Organizations and nonprofits to serve the society to make a difference in the lives of others. For hardworking and committed person like Pawan, time will always be good. When the timing suits he can plunge into active politics to serve society.

Leadership appears to be rosy from outside but it is a bed of thorns. And to get adjusted to bed of thorns a lot of patience, tolerance and wisdom are needed. Currently Pawan lack these traits. Therefore, he must exercise patience and acquire the desirable traits and habits to make it big in later part of his life.  I personally don’t want Pawan to become another Abhimanyu. I want him to become another Arjun to come out with flying colors. All that Pawan needs now is a sage advice from Lord Sri Krishna, and that is what I preaching him through this blog. Why I invested this much time by writing about him although I am busy with several international assignments is that I appreciate Pawan’s charisma, courage, and commitment. I wish him good luck!

“Making your mark on the world is hard. If it were easy, everybody would do it. But it's not. It takes patience, it takes commitment, and it comes with plenty of failure along the way. The real test is not whether you avoid this failure, because you won't. It’s whether you let it harden or shame you into inaction, or whether you learn from it; whether you choose to persevere.” – Barack Obama
